Sony’s New Twirl And Take

Sony continues to get green with an innovative new concept camera called the Twirl N’Take, which allows the user to spin a disk and generate enough power for a single digital snapshot. Also, if you’re still worried that your fellow Greenpeace canvassers will give you a hard time about your gadget habit, the body of the camera is made of “plant-based” materials for maximum bio-friendliness. Unfortunately, twirling isn’t the most efficient power source, so there’s no screen - you have to hook up to a computer to see your photo. I Don’t think I would buy this, frankly I think I would find the whole process a bit annoying, but you have to give Sony points for where they’re going, although it doesn’t look they plan to bring the thing to market anytime soon anyway.
