Childrens Eco-Friendly Torch
I don’t think kids really care about the environment, I’m sure they don’t even think about it. Hopefully these friendly looking little torches should change that, as they are rechargeable and will never need batteries. They’re really cute too, and you can choose between a cow, frog or pig. Just squeeze the lever to create some juice and they’ll shine oh so brightly for a little while. It’s good exercise for the arms too.

How cool! With kids it’s all about the training and education so getting them exposed to eco friendly stuff early and often is significant irregardless as to whether they care about the environment or not. I’m reminded of a buddy of mine whose oldest child had made it to the ripe old age of 6 or so when he first got introduced to a car window with a handle. He asked his father where the button was to roll down the window having never seen those funny looking levers that required arm action to get the window to move…LOL

My 9 year old told me two days ago that she thought “you have a great life”. She went on to explain to me that, for now my lifestyle is mostly unaffected by global warming. I was really taken aback. I know that they really teach these things to kids at schools here in Japan. I was just unaware that it has been taken to this level! Let’s not underestimate our kids!
