MacBook Air: Eco friendly??

Apple CEO, Steve Jobs just announced the new MacBook Air. It is a beautiful, ultra thin sleek design that I can’t wait to get my hands on.

Is it eco-friendly? Here’s what Mac World had to say:

” Apple’s frequently been in the crosshairs of environmental group Greenpeace in recent years. Jobs offered information about the environmental goals behind the MacBook Air — it has a fully recyclable aluminum case, and is “the first” to have a mercury-free display with arsenic-free glass. All the circuit boards are BFR-free and PVC-free, and the retail packaging uses 56 percent less material than the MacBook packaging.”

    It would be even more environmentally friendly if you carried it around in a Solar powered laptop bag

    i can only say WOW! it’s slim and it really looks nice and shiny. i hope the performance is good because i really think that notebook is expensive.
