Panasonic, Sharp, and Toshiba form recycling partnership

Panasonic, Sharp and Toshiba have just announced that they’ve formed a new joint venture named Electronics Manufacturers Recycling Management Company, to handle collection and recycling of their products in the US.

MRM seems to have formed in response to some new strict regulations recently passed in Minnesota, as well as similar regs that are about to go on the books in Connecticut, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington, but the idea is to provide recycling programs to state and local governments and other manufacturers — and to that end, MRM already has deals with Hitachi, JVC, Mitsubishi, Philips, Pioneer, Sanyo, and Syntax-Brillian. Electric cars really don’t get much better than this. The “CityCar” concept, designed by MIT engineers, gives compact a new meaning. In addition to being stackable, they are also eco-friendly. This high-tech vehicle has wheels with integrated motors that can also rotate a full 360-degrees while moving. The chimp is a one person, stand-up, electric utility vehicle . It has a top speed of 11 mph . With a capacity to carry 50 pounds this little vehicle can travel over 30 miles on a charge.

It is very simple and intuitive to drive and there is no need for lessons before driving the it. A product like this could well become a future utility item for  airports, malls, amusement parks, fairgrounds, schools, universities, parking garages, parking enforcement, parades etc.

These Recycled rugs are intricately woven with multi colored threads made of recycled plastic.

They are woven with the same fashion as real flat weave wool rugs. These rugs are made from recycled soda bottles and milk bottles.

It won’t stain easily since it’s made from plastic, so cleaning up a soill is easy, you just need to wipe it off! They don’t trap water so they won’t produce mildew.
